This legal notice is published in terms of section 43 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECTA"), which requires the following disclosures from any website through which goods are sold in South Africa:

When you place an order on this website, an electronic transaction is concluded as contemplated in ECTA. A binding agreement arises when your payment is confirmed. Records of your transaction are retained and can be requested by email.

Under section 44 of ECTA you have the right to cancel an electronic transaction without reason or penalty within 7 days of receiving the goods, by written notice to us. This statutory cooling-off right does not apply to goods which by their nature cannot be returned, or perishable foodstuffs — which includes our fresh sea moss gels once dispatched. Where the cooling-off right does not apply, our voluntary 14-day return policy for unopened, sealed products still gives you broader protection than the statute requires. Your purchases are protected by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"), including the implied warranty of quality in section 56, under which defective goods may be returned within 6 months of delivery for repair, replacement or refund. Nothing on this website or in our policies removes or limits any right you have under the CPA.

If we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you may refer it to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) at www.cgso.org.za or 0860 000 272, an independent dispute-resolution scheme for South African retail, at no cost to you. You may also approach the National Consumer Commission.

Our products are natural foods and food-based supplements. They are not registered medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. No statement on this website has been evaluated by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA). We make no medicinal claims, and product information is provided for general education only. Always read the label, use as directed, and consult a healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on chronic medication or managing a medical condition.
